The Botanical Garden of the University of Poznań is located almost in the city center. The history of the Garden dates back to the 1920s. The place currently serves as a city and educational park. The area is overgrown with over 100-year-old trees and plant collections (e.g. peonies, roses, alpinarium, etc). There are also several small water reservoirs in the area.
The opening hours of the Botanical Garden vary depending on the season. Details and additional information are available on the Garden's website - link below. The drawn route is only a suggestion - walk freely and enjoy the place. At the entrance - for ease, there is a map with marked parts of the Garden, where the most common birds living here are found.

The Botanical Garden can be reached by public transport from anywhere in Poznań - both by tram and bus. If arriving by car - parking spaces are marked on the map with the letter P. Click and get directions. Except the rock garden area (alpinarium), the garden is wheelchair accessible. The Botanical Garden is only accessible on foot.
