Dømmesmoen is a beautiful area outside Grimstad, offering a large, well-maintained park and excellent walking terrain in the woodland behind the Norwegian Museum of Horticulture. A good area to see warblers and songbirds including Pouillot siffleur in the summer and a good chance on Gros-bec casse-noyaux. Also many species of woodpeckers including Torcol fourmilier. Occasionally interesting ducks on the pond along with also Canard colvert and Gallinule poule-d'eau.
