Small bird observation tower on Lake Dillevik. More than 200 bird species have been seen at the lake and in the surrounding Hæra Nature Reserve.
Dillevik Tower is a bird tower on Lake Dillevik (Dilleviksjøen). It is located on the north side of Lake Dillevik and offers good views in all directions. Dillevik Tower is located in the Hæra Nature Reserve. An area with a rich birdlife. The area was protected in 1992 to preserve an important wetland area with vegetation, birdlife and other wildlife, as well as a very diverse natural environment that represents a beautiful and valuable element of the cultural landscape. Almost 200 bird species have been recorded within the nature reserve. Many of these are wetland birds that thrive in and by water. For Grue cendrée, swans and geese, the lakes and surrounding areas are a welcome resting place during migration in spring and autumn. Sometimes big groups of Grue cendrée gather in the area.
