Zoutkamp Watchtower & Harbour is a nice walk in a varied area. Many birds can be seen here. Many waders can be seen in the shallow pool, and many gulls in the harbour. Because the area is close to the National Park Lauwersmeer, there are also many birds that visit this place for a short time. There is a tall watchtower and also an earthen wall, perfect for birdwatching.

Nederlands: De wandeling bij Zoutkamp naar de uitkijktoren en haven loopt door een afwisselend gebied waar veel vogels te zien zijn. In de ondiepe plas zijn veel steltlopers te zien en in de haven veel meeuwen. Doordat het gebied vlakbij het Nationaal Park Lauwersmeer ligt, zijn er ook veel vogels die deze plek voor een korte tijd bezoeken. Er is een hoge uitkijktoren en ook een aarden wal, perfect om vogels te kijken.
