The Westbroekse Zodden is located on the edge of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug in the transition to the peat meadow area. A circular walk (Bert Bospad-trail) takes you along the different habitats. The area is a good location to see Balbuzard pêcheur during the spring and autumn migration. The Butor étoilé is also often present in the area, as well as Héron pourpré and reed songbirds such as Locustelle luscinioïde, Gorgebleue à miroir and Locustelle tachetée.

Nederlands: De Westbroekse Zodden is een moerasgebied met petgaten, elzenbossen en een paar stukken trilveen, waar je een aantal mooie moerasvogels kunt waarnemen. De Westbroekse Zodden ligt aan de rand van de Utrechtse Heuvelrug in de overgang naar het veenweidegebied. Een rondwandeling (Bert Bospad) voert langs de verschillende natuurtypen. Het gebied is een goede locatie om tijdens de voor- en najaarstrek de visarend te zien. Ook de roerdomp is vaak aanwezig in het gebied, evenals purperreiger en rietzangvogels als snor, blauwborst en sprinkhaanzanger.

An unpaved walking route runs through the area. Bicycles and dogs are not allowed. There is a parking space at Kanaaldijk in Hollandsche Rading and a parking space at Kerkdijk 80 in Westbroek.
