The "Trintelhaven" harbour is located on the "Houtribdijk" dyke, connecting the provinces of Flevoland and Noord-Holland. The harbour is the only area with high vegetation for kilometers around due to its position on the center of the dyke. In winter, the area is great for species like Harle bièvre, Harle huppé, Harle piette, Fuligule milouinan and Garrot à oeil d'or. These birds tend to hang around inside the harbour as well as on the outside.
During spring and (mainly) autumn migration, the higher vegetation (bushes and trees) are a great stopover for migrating songbirds. Common species that can be found here are Roitelet triple-bandeau and Roitelet huppé. Pouillot à grands sourcils is a rarer migrant, but has been found here often! Other rare species that have been discovered here are Pouillot brun, Pouillot de Pallas, Grimpereau des bois and Étourneau roselin.

De haven is in de wijde omgeving de enige plek met opgaande begroeiing door de centrale positie op de dijk. Tijdens de voorjaars- en (voornamelijk) de najaarstrek is de opgaande begroeiing (bosschages en bomen) zeer geschikt voor migrerende zangvogels. Algemene soorten die hier kunnen worden aangetroffen zijn Roitelet triple-bandeau en Roitelet huppé. Pouillot à grands sourcils is een zeldzamere soort, maar is met enige regelmaat hier ontdekt. Andere zeldzame soorten die hier ontdekt zijn, zijn Pouillot brun, Pouillot de Pallas, Grimpereau des bois en Étourneau roselin.

The area can be reached by bike and car by driving along the "Houtribdijk" dyke. You can park your car on the parking lot on the nothern side (see map) and walk around the area to observe the water and to scan the trees and bushes.
