The Rembrandtpark offers everything that the nearby Vondelpark offers but without the (tourist) crowds. The famous Perruche à collier is often seen here, but also the lesser-known Perruche alexandre is common here. In addition to the more common water birds such as Grèbe huppé, Fuligule morillon, Canard colvert, large groups of Foulque macroule and Gallinule poule-d'eau, Héron cendré and Grand Cormoran you even have a chance of seeing Râle d'eau and Bécasse des bois. Also, Pic épeiche, Roitelet triple-bandeau, Chardonneret élégant, Mésange à longue queue and in winter groups of Grive mauvis are no exceptions. By building nest walls and leaving fallen trees with large root balls, even the Martin-pêcheur d'Europe is a regular guest. A Faucon pèlerin regularly sits on the lookout on top of the red letters of the Leonardo hotel on the west side of the park.

Nederlands: Het Rembrandtpark is een prachtig stadspark met veel water en oudere bomen. Een stuk rustiger dan het nabijgelegen Vondelpark. Dit park biedt eigenlijk alles wat het Vondelpark ook biedt maar dan zonder de (toeristische) drukte. De beroemde Perruche à collier zie je hier veel maar ook de minder bekende Perruche alexandre komt hier veel voor. Naast de normalere watervogels als Grèbe huppé, Fuligule morillon, Canard colvert, grote groepen Foulque macroule en Gallinule poule-d'eau, Héron cendré en Grand Cormoran maak je zelfs kans op Râle d'eau en Bécasse des bois. Ook zijn Pic épeiche, Roitelet triple-bandeau, Chardonneret élégant, Mésange à longue queue en in de winter groepen Grive mauvis geen uitzonderingen. Door de aanleg van nestwanden en het laten liggen van omgewaaide bomen met grote wortelkluiten is zelfs de Martin-pêcheur d'Europe een regelmatige gast. Bovenop de rode letters van het Leonardo hotel aan de westkant van het park zit regelmatig een Faucon pèlerin op de uitkijk.

The Rembrandtpark is easily accessible on foot, by bike or by public transport. From the tram stops at Surinameplein you can walk straight into the middle of the park. Car use is not recommended due to high parking fees. For birdwatchers with young children there is a petting zoo and a construction playground with ponies (het Landje). There are no real catering facilities.

Nederlands: Het Rembrandtpark is makkelijk bereikbaar te voet met de fiets of het ov. Vanaf de tramhaltes bij het Surinameplein loop je zo het midden van het park in. Auto is af te raden wegens de hoge parkeerkosten. Voor vogelaars met jonge kinderen is er een kinderboerderij en een bouwspeelplaats met ponys (het Landje). Er is geen echte horeca.
