The Noordwaard is an overgrown sandbank with a lot of reeds, plants and woods. In the forest breed Héron cendré and in the marsh Grande Aigrette and Butor étoilé. De Noordwaard is een begroeide zandplaat met ondertussen veel riet, beplanting en bos. In het bos broeden Héron cendré en op de waard Grande Aigrette en Butor étoilé. De Middenwaard is veel jonger en ontstaan nadat het zand is weggehhaald. Gebied met stromend water en jonge beplanting. Vanaf de toren overzicht over beide gebieden. Vooral in trektijd interressant.

The tower can be reached via the disengagement road from the business site and there is room for parking. De Noordwaard can only be visited with a guide and excusions. The Middenwaard is freely accessible via the paths and suitable for a tour.
