Landgoed Larenstein is an estate dating back to the 18th century. Today, the estate is home to the Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences. The estate features beautiful gardens, including a heemtuin (native garden) with various biotopes, ponds and a wide range of plant species. The university uses the estate as a practical learning environment for its students. The large garden surrounding the estate attracts many birds. In the autumn, Pouillot à grands sourcils is sometimes found.

Nederlands: Landgoed Larenstein dateert uit de 18e eeuw. Tegenwoordig is het landgoed de thuisbasis van de Hogeschool Van Hall Larenstein. Het landgoed beschikt over prachtige tuinen, waaronder een heemtuin met verschillende biotopen, vijvers en een breed scala aan plantensoorten. De hogeschool gebruikt het landgoed als praktische leeromgeving voor studenten. De grote tuinen rondom het landgoed trekken veel vogels aan.
