The Knarbos Oost is a young forest area with reeds and small marshy parts. You can spot almost all summer guest songbirds there, because there are so many hawthorn bushes. For example Rossignol philomèle, Fauvette grisette, Fauvette babillarde and Hypolaïs ictérine. In the young forest you can already find Pic épeiche and Pic épeichette. In the fields around the forest, the Pluvier guignard is sometimes seen in the spring, and in the winter Buse pattue and Faucon émerillon.

Nederlands: Het Knarbos Oost is een mooi, klein bosgebied met veel zangvogels. Het is een jong bosgebied met riet en kleine moerassen. Je kunt er nagenoeg alle zomergast zangvogels spotten, omdat er zoveel meidoornstruiken zijn. Bijvoorbeeld Rossignol philomèle, Fauvette grisette, Fauvette babillarde en Hypolaïs ictérine. In het jonge bos zitten al Pic épeiche en Pic épeichette. In de akkers rond het bos wordt in het voorjaar wel eens de Pluvier guignard gezien en in de winter Buse pattue en Faucon émerillon.
