Right next to the village of Baak is a beautiful small estate including an old country house and the adjacent Hertenbosch, a varied open forest with many ponds. Nice circular walk of about 2.5 km with many Sittelle torchepot, Grimpereau des jardins and Pic épeiche and also birds such as Gros-bec casse-noyaux and Fauvette des jardins.

Nederlands: Direct naast het dorp Baak ligt een mooi klein landgoed inclusief oud landhuis en het aangrenzende Hertenbosch. Dit is een afwisselend open loofbos op natte bodem (deels een rabattenbos). Er zijn dus veel waterplassen. Je vindt er veel oude beuken en eiken, maar ook es, linde en populier. Leuke rondwandeling van zo'n 2,5 km. Het bos trekt veel Sittelle torchepot, Grimpereau des jardins en Pic épeiche aan en ook vogels als Gros-bec casse-noyaux en Fauvette des jardins.

The village of Baak is located south of the city of Zutphen. From the village you can walk along a beautiful path around the estate and then through the adjacent forest. The walk (marked with red posts) is popular, especially in the weekend, and if you want to walk in peace and quiet you should go early or at the end of the day. Nederlands: Het dorp Baak ligt ten zuiden van Zutphen. Vanuit het dorp loop je meteen via een mooi pad rondom het landgoed en daarna door het aangrenzende bos. De wandeling (gemarkeerd met rode paaltjes) is wel populair, zeker in het weekend, en als je in alle rust wilt wandelen moet je vroeg gaan, op het einde van de dag of buiten het weekend. Parkeren kan in het dorp Baak Druk op P voor een routebeschrijving naar een parkeerplek. Openbaar vervoer: Baak is te bereiken met de bus. Buslijn 82, bushalte: 'Dorp'.
