The small harbor of De Cocksdorp is located in the north of the Wadden Sea island of Texel. Easily accessible and always lots of birds to see.

Description

The harbor jetty at De Cocksdorp is easily accessible from the neighboring village and there are always nice birds to see in the little harbor. Birds you can find there include Tadorne de Belon, Canard souchet, Sarcelle d'hiver, Canard pilet, Canard siffleur, Avocette élégante, Courlis cendré and Chevalier gambette.

Nederlands: De havensteiger bij De Cocksdorp is gemakkelijk bereikbaar vanuit het aangrenzende dorp en er zijn altijd leuke vogels te zien in het haventje. Vogels die je er kunt aantreffen zijn onder meer Tadorne de Belon, Canard souchet, Sarcelle d'hiver, Canard pilet, Canard siffleur, Avocette élégante, Courlis cendré en Chevalier gambette.

Easily accessible on foot or by bike from De Cocksdorp. Near the harbor at about 75 meters are parking places. Click on the P in the map for directions. There is also a disabled parking space.

Nederlands: Gemakkelijk bereikbaar te voet of met de fiets vanuit De Cocksdorp. Vlakbij de haven op ca 75 meter zijn parkeerplaatsen. Klik op de P in de kaart voor een routebeschrijving. Er is ook een mindervalide parkeerplaats.
