The Drentse Aa is a meandering brook in a beautiful natural and cultural landscape. It is part of the Drentsche Aa National Park, one of the best-preserved stream valley landscapes in The Netherlands. The landscape around the Drentse Aa near Schipborg is beautiful. Walk through the landscape and look for the Sittelle torchepot, Pic noir, Pic épeiche, and during migration season, a chance of Milan royal, Grand Corbeau and Grue cendrée.

Het landschap rondom de Drentse Aa bij Schipborg is prachtig. Wandel door het landschap en zoek de Sittelle torchepot, Pic noir, Pic épeiche, en in de trektijd kans op Milan royal, Grand Corbeau en Grue cendrée.

The walk starts just south of the village of Schipborg. Park at the Kymmelsberg on the north side of the route or on the south side of the route at the Molensteeg. Both are free and have plenty of space. Press a P on the map for directions to a parking lot. The circular walk shown on the map is approximately 7 km.

Nederlands: De wandeling start net ten zuiden van Schipborg. Parkeren bij de Kymmelsberg aan de noordkant van de route of aan de zuidkant van de route bij de Molensteeg.
