Description
Berbice is originally a 17th century country estate on the Leidseweg in Voorschoten. The park is laid out according to the characteristic English landscape style. The forest is good for watching typical forest birds such as Chouette hulotte, Pic épeiche, Sittelle torchepot, Grimpereau des jardins and Roitelet triple-bandeau, but you can also see birds like Héron cendré and Martin-pêcheur d'Europe.

Nederlands: Berbice is een van oorsprong 17e eeuwse buitenplaats aan de Leidseweg in Voorschoten. Het park is aangelegd volgens de karakteristieke Engelse landschapsstijl. Het bos is goed voor het kijken van typische bosvogels als bosuil, grote bonte specht, boomklever, boomkruiper en vuurgoudhaan, maar ook diverse soorten mezen, de blauwe reiger en ijsvogel kun je er zien.
