The Beekvliet estate has a nice forest with old oaks that were planted around 1840. There are even some older specimens along the avenue to Beekvliet. So you will mainly encounter forest birds here. A large nature restoration project has been carried out on the Stelkampsveld nature reserve that borders Beekvliet. Parts of Beekvliet are also involved. Birds that you can see on Beekvliet include: Pic noir, Pic mar, Pic épeiche, Pic vert, Sittelle torchepot, Roitelet huppé andRougequeue à front blanc

Nederlands: Landgoed Beekvliet heeft een mooi bos met oude zomereiken die rond 1840 zijn aangeplant. Langs de laan naar huize Beekvliet staan zelfs enkele oudere exemplaren. Je komt hier dus voornamelijk bosvogels tegen. Op het aan Beekvliet grenzende natuurgebied Stelkampsveld is een groot natuurherstelproject uitgevoerd. Ook delen van Beekvliet zijn hierbij betrokken. Vogels die je op Beekvliet kunt zien, zijn onder meer Pic noir, Pic mar, Pic épeiche, Pic vert, Sittelle torchepot, Roitelet huppé en Rougequeue à front blanc.

Beekvliet is located between the villages of Barchem and Borculo. Parking is possible at the Beekvliet car park. Press P on the map for directions to the car park. The circular walk shown on the map is approximately 1.5 km. It is recommended to combine a visit with the adjacent Stelkampsveld (also described on Birdingplaces, see the link below) that can be visited from the same parking lot.

Nederlands: Het Stelkampsveld ligt tussen Barchem en Borculo. Je kunt parkeren op parkeerplaats Beekvliet. Druk op P in de kaart voor een routebschrijving naar de parkeerplaats. De rondwandeling die is weergegeven op de kaart is ongeveer 1,5 km. Aanrader om een bezoek te combineren met het aangrenzende Stelkampsveld (ook beschreven op Birdingplaces, zie de link beneden) dat vanaf dezelfde parkeerplaats bezocht kan worden.
