Val' d'Ultimo Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio is an impressive landscape with its intact nature, steep meadows, dense woods and clear mountain lakes. Great area for hiking. There are many high altitude bird species living in the area, but they are shy and can sometimes be hard to see. Among the birds you can encounter are Aigle royal, Gypaète barbu, Perdrix bartavelle, Lagopède alpin and others.

You park at the parking lot of the Lago Fontana Bianca. Click on the P in the map to get directions. From the parking you can walk along the many more or less easy paths that go up to high altitude. The circular route indicated on the map is about 10 km long.
