Riserva Naturale Bosco Fontana is a wetland that is rich in marshy areas and woods where it is possible to observe a great variety of birds. Especially in the spring-summer period when many migratory bid species make a stop in the area of breed. Among the birds you can see are Faucon hobereau, Cigogne blanche, Loriot d'Europe, Milan noir, Butor étoilé, Héron pourpré, Sarcelle d'été and Tourterelle des bois.

Riserva Naturale Bosco Fontana is located just north of the city of Mantua. You can get to there from Mantua if you are coming from the South or from Goito / Marmirolo if you are coming from the North. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. Please note that the area is closed on Tuesdays and Fridays.
