Pineta del Faro has a high biodiversity both in terms of fauna and flora. The area is a mix of beach, open fields, forest, dunes, scattered trees and bushes and you can also view the mouth of the river Tagliamento. The scenery is very pleasant. Among the birds you can encounter are Goéland leucophée, Pic épeiche, Pic vert, Sterne pierregarin, Grand Cormoran, Épervier d'Europe, Petit-duc scops and Fauvette mélanocéphale.
