Parco Dell'Adige Sud is a large natural open landscape with many trees, bushes, small ponds and tiny streams that join the big Adige river. The first part is ideal for birds of open habitats such as Faucon crécerelle, Faisan de Colchide or Pic vert. If you follow the small stream it leads you to an open area with small ponds where you can observe wetland birds such as Aigrette garzette or Gallinule poule-d'eau and raptors, for example Buse variable. On the river Adige you can also see many river birds, for example ducks, Foulque macroule or Grand Cormoran.
If you follow the way along the riverside you can listen to the songs of Fauvette à tête noire, Pouillot véloce and Bouscarle de Cetti. If you then come back to the town you can see many urban birds such as Tourterelle turque, Serin cini, Étourneau sansonnet, Martinet noir and many swallows.

Italiano: Il Parco dell'Adige Sud è un ampio paesaggio naturale aperto con molti alberi, cespugli, piccoli stagni e minuscoli ruscelli che si ricongiungono al grande fiume Adige. La prima parte è l'ideale per gli uccelli che vivono in habitat aperti, come il Faucon crécerelle, il Faisan de Colchide o il Pic vert. Se segui il ruscello, questo ti condurrà a un'area aperta con piccoli stagni dove puoi osservare uccelli acquatici come la Aigrette garzette o la Gallinule poule-d'eau e rapaci, ad esempio la Buse variable. Sul fiume Adige puoi vedere anche molti uccelli fluviali, come anatre, la Foulque macroule o il Grand Cormoran.
Se segui il sentiero lungo la riva del fiume, puoi ascoltare i canti della Fauvette à tête noire, del Pouillot véloce e dell' Bouscarle de Cetti. Tornando poi verso la città, puoi vedere molti uccelli urbani come la Tourterelle turque, il Serin cini, lo Étourneau sansonnet, il Martinet noir e molte rondini.

Parco dell’Adige Sud is located on the southeastern outskirts of Verona, about a 3 km walk from the city center. The area is also easily accessible by bus or car. Press P on the map for directions to a parking. Also the Verona Porta Vescovo train station (1) is within walking distance of the park. The suggested walking route on the map is about 5 km.
