The fourth largest of Milan's parks has an agricultural character and is nice to walk around and good for seeing many birds close to the city.
The Ticinello Agricultural Park, with its 88 hectares, is the fourth largest of Milan's parks. Its uniqueness lies in its agricultural character. It is a nice area for birdwatching close to the city. The trees, wet areas and meadows are home to numerous species of birds including Pic vert, Mésange charbonnière, Mésange bleue, Mésange nonnette, Moineau domestique, Moineau friquet, Pouillot véloce, Guêpier d'Europe, Fauvette à tête noire, Hirondelle rustique, Chevêche d'Athéna, Héron cendré, Héron garde-boeufs, Gallinule poule-d'eau, Épervier d'Europe, Faucon crécerelle, Faucon hobereau, Pic épeiche, Aigrette garzette, Mésange à longue queue, Roitelet huppé and also Perruche à collier.
