Oasi Naturalistica Val Grande in Bibione was once a fishing valley and hunting reserve, it was converted in 2024 into a natural oasis usable for tourism purposes, with the opening of paths and the installation of towers and hides for birdwatching. The area has good potential from the avifaunal point of view which, although not yet optimal, could benefit from the environmental improvement interventions planned.

Italiano: L'oasi naturalistica Val Grande è una zona umida di ca. 300 ettari, composta da una varietà di biotopi, tra stagni, dune sabbiose, vaste leccete, praterie. Un tempo valle da pesca e riserva di caccia, è stata convertita nel 2024 in oasi naturalistica utilizzabile a fini turistici, con l'apertura di sentieri e l'installazione di torrette e capanni per il birdwatching. L'area presenta un buon potenziale dal punto di vista avifaunistico che anche se non ancora ottimale potrà giovarsi degli interventi di miglioramento ambientale previsti.

Oasi Naturalistica Val Grande is located near the town of Bibione. The entrance is located in via Baseleghe, 2 – behind the Havana restaurant in Bibione. Ample parking available. Press P on the map for directions. Reachable by car or easily by bicycle for those who live in Bibione - the center is a stone's throw away. Entrance fee is € 8 (2025).
