Description

Monte Reixa is a mountain in the protected area of Parco naturale regionale del Beigua and part of the Ligurian Appennines. The diversity of environments that are found during this walk allows you to observe various species of birds, from small passerines such as Mésange huppée and Gobemouche noir in places rich in vegetation to Pluvier guignard, Pipit rousseline and raptors in the grassy areas or on the rocky peaks. Especially recommended during migration periods where it is possible to observe, with a bit of luck, Circaète Jean-le-Blanc , Bondrée apivore , Faucon crécerellette , Aigle botté, Grue cendrée and occasionally even Vautour fauve.

The path leads you to pass through the dense forest and then open into large grassy or rocky clearings. Note: It is strongly recommended to always follow the path.
