The Oasi WWF Laguna di Orbetello is the main reserve on the Laguna di Orbetello (see separate entry on Birdingplaces), but is often closed. The birdingplace we describe here is always open and a good alternative when the main WWF reserve is closed. This flat road on the south side of the Orbetello Lagoon offers easy parking and easy walking. You have the opportunity to see Flamant rose , as well as other sea birds and water birds. For example Aigrette garzette, Sterne pierregarin, Goéland cendré and Héron cendré. In winter Grèbe à cou noir and Harle huppé can be observed.

Park near the supermarket "Coop" in "Via Lungo Lago dei Pescatori". Click on the P in the map for directions. Alternatively you can also park near the Hospital. You can walk or cycle along the road and get close to the lagoon coast and the wildlife. To get closer to the water you'll see small entrances in between the bushes.

In alternativa si può parcheggiare anche nei pressi dell'Ospedale. Puoi camminare o andare in bicicletta lungo la strada e avvicinarti alla costa lagunare e alla fauna selvatica. Per avvicinarti all'acqua vedrai piccoli ingressi tra i cespugli.
