Tolfaccia hill and Freddara wood in the Monti della Tolfa (Tolfa hills) are a great spot for observing Milan royal. In the open grassland among the coppice woods it is also common to see Milan noir, Circaète Jean-le-Blanc, Bondrée apivore, Oedicnème criard and many other species.
