Around the village of Fubine you can see many nice Mediterranean bird species such as Guêpier d'Europe, Huppe fasciée and Petit-duc scops. A colony of Guêpier d'Europe breeds in the mountain where Fubine is located.. Huppe fasciée can also be seen often and I have also seen groups of Ibis sacré fly over. Two Petit-duc scops are probably in a tree at the bottom right of the church at the top, but I have seen them myself in the evening on the electricity wires just below the church in the dark. Every evening I heard them call loudly. Guêpier d'Europe sometimes all sit together in high bare treetops at the bottom of the mountain in and around the sand walls.
