An olive grove where Petit-duc scops can be found. Also a great site for Hibou moyen-duc.

Description

This site and the surrounding area is excelent for Petit-duc scops, Hibou moyen-duc and, nearby, Chevêche d'Athéna and Effraie des clochers. On the church roof, heading towards Skala Kalloni, a Cigogne blanche nest is located. Other species include warblers, buntings and larks.

Accès

Papiana is a small village Between Skala Kalloni and Kerami and can be reached from the Kallonis to Eresou road. Parking on one of the small sideroads making sure you don't block access to anywhere. Head for the Olive Groves viewed from opposite the school and playground.
