Description
All the way south towards the mouth of Kalloni bay, Makara beach is located. This beach, and especially the surrounding shrubs, groves and wooded areas, are great for arrived and arriving migrant during spring migration. The fields adjacent to the beach are good to look for Caille des blés and Oedicnème criard. A bit to the west, a small river flows into the sea and provides a good spot for Tadorne casarca, Blongios nain, flycatchers and warblers. The river mouth is also good for foraging waders.

The area is easy accessable due to a road leading to the beach. You can search the area by walking along this road, or walk along the dry riverbed and scan both sides of the river.
