Aetovouni quarry is a nice and must-to-go spot for everyone who is birding at Lake Kerkini. The pack of species here is totally different. For example Épervier à pieds courts, Traquet oreillard, Sittelle de Neumayer and Monticole bleu can be found here.

Access - turn at the last (first) road in Vyroneia towards Church of the Transfigurations of Jesus, Aetovouni and park your car in the forest before the church. Click on the P in the map for directions. From the parking follow the trail.
