The south-west exposed vineyards near Rüdesheim are characterized, among other things, by the warm, dry and warm winter steep slopes of the Taunus slope towards the Middle Rhine. It is a bird sanctuary for Faucon pèlerin and Pie-grièche écorcheur, but it is also an important habitat for Bruant fou, Bruant zizi, Torcol fourmilier, Traquet motteux and Faucon hobereau.
