A ca. 85 hectares lake in an open wide landscape. One of two lakes around the next town and the only bigger areas of water in the whole area.

Description

The best time for birding is in winter. Then you can spot many species of waterfowl like Oie cendrée, Oie rieuse, , Tadorne casarca, Canard souchet, Canard chipeau, Canard siffleur, Sarcelle d'hiver, Nette rousse, Fuligule milouin or Fuligule morillon. But also many other aquatic birds like Grèbe esclavon, Grèbe jougris, Grèbe à cou noir or different species of Gulls.

You can park at a big parking place at the south west of the lake. The best way to explore the area is walking.
