Vorland Eiderstedt is located in Böhl, an area that is a little quieter than the other parts of Sankt-Peter-Ording. The beach in Böhl lies behind wide salt marshes and has a large and wide sandbank. Many different birds can be observed in the salt marshes and on the beach. Please note that most of the salt marsh is a protected area of the national park and may not be entered without permission!
In the area you can observe Busard des roseaux, , Traquet motteux, Chevalier gambette, Courlis cendré, Huîtrier pie and Alouette des champs. In summer, Grand Gravelot and other typical beach birds can be observed on the beach.
Please pay attention to the signs here too and keep a sufficient distance, as rare birds such as the Sterne naine attempt to breed here.

Vorland Eiderstedt is located in Sankt Peter-Ording, a seaside resort located on the North Sea coast, at the western tip of the Eiderstedt peninsula. Access to the beach is only permitted on foot. Parking is available at the building on stilts or at the beach entrance. Press P on the map for directions. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 3 km.
