The hill is not as high as the Kaiserstuhl so the area is easier to explore. You don't have to leave the paths to watch the Guêpier d'Europe, Huppe fasciée, Tourterelle des bois, Torcol fourmilier and Bruant zizi.

The area is located west of the village of Opfingen. There are several options for parking. Click on a P in the map for directions. You can explore the area by feet or by bike. The circular route indicated on the map is about 7 km.
