Description
In Kührener Teich and the surroundings you can find various habitas with pastures, scrubland, hedgerows, wetlands and a small lake. A group of Grue cendrée can often be found here together with Vanneau huppé and Tarier pâtre. There is a nesting raft on the lake for Sterne pierregarin and many ducks and geese rest on the large island in the lake. This area also has some interesting ponds with amphibians and insects.

Kührener Teich is located east of the village of Kühren and 6 km south of the town of Preetz. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. By bike: 6 km from Preetz trainstation. Access by public transportation is not easy (closest bus station in Kühren).
