The area of a former french military airport Flugplatz Bremgarten consists of meadows and small forests and holds some of the scarcer breeding birds of the region, notably Loriot d'Europe, Bruant proyer, Hypolaïs polyglotte and Tourterelle des bois. In spring and autumn the area is good for migrating and resting raptors (e.g. harriers, sometimes Faucon kobez) and passerines (e.g. Traquet motteux, Tarier des prés).
