Description

It is worth watching birds around Burg Herrenstein as you will find large groups of all kinds of waterfowl. Cygne tuberculé, Fuligule morillon, Grèbe huppé, Grande Aigrette, Martin-pêcheur d'Europe and more can be found there all the time. You can also occasionally see Autour des palombes and Faucon hobereau.

The area can be reached by car. There is a gravel car park opposite the castle. There is also a bus stop nearby.
