Description

The Baddeckenstedt Teiche are ponds that are located in the nature reserve Mittleres Innerstetal, about 6 km east of the Derneburg ponds. Numerous waterfowl breed here, including around 15 pairs of Grèbe castagneux , 1-2 pairs of Grèbe à cou noir and, for the first time in 2010, a pair of Grèbe jougris. Occasionally, Grèbe huppé also breed. In addition to Canard colvert and Cygne tuberculé, Fuligule morillon, Fuligule milouin and Canard chipeau are at home here.
