You will reach the monument on your drive from Tblisi to Kazbegi, a few kilometers before the Jvari pass. It is a tourist attraction with car park and people selling food and memorabilia. There is a large observation platform and a smaller one near the car park. Look up for migrating birds like Bondrée apivore, Épervier à pieds courts, Milan noir or local Aigle royal, Martinet à ventre blanc or Grand Corbeau. On the rocks below you can see species like Crave à bec rouge, Chocard à bec jaune, Accenteur alpin, Tichodrome échelette and Merle à plastron. Check the grassland for Pipit spioncelle and Serin à front rouge.
