Les Salines Rémire-Montjoly allows you to cross several biotopes of the coast of Guyana: forests on white sand as well as mangroves and mudflats. The fairly short 1, 5 km path runs along the beach which also allows you to observe coastal species. Français: La zone est un sentiers cours en bord de mer qui est composé d'un végétation sur sable blanc et d'une mangrove ainsi qu'un petit lac d'eau saumatre. La zone permet de traverser plusieurs biotopes du littoral de guyane : les forets sur sables blanc ainsi que les mangroves et des vasières. Le sentier assez court longe la plage se qui permet aussi de contacter les espèces cotières.

Les Salines Rémire-Montjoly is located 7 km east of Cayenne. There is a parking lot at the start of the trail. Press P on the map for directions or coordinates. The walk is done on foot, quite early because the sun quickly heats the sand which makes it burning if you are barefoot.
