Route 23 is a beautiful panoramic road that runs along the Verdon canyon. The site is easily accessible by anyone. Just stand on the sidewalk that runs alongside the road and you can easily, especially in the central hours of the day, see several dozen Vautour fauve passing through the canyon, often at very short distances. Not all days are the same, but it is practically impossible not to see anything.

Other birds that you can observe from the viewpoints are Vautour moine, Crave à bec rouge, Faucon pèlerin, Vautour percnoptère and Circaète Jean-le-Blanc.
