Parc du Sausset is a very good place to bird for a few hours if you are stuck in Paris! It is home to a few heritage species: Butor étoilé (winter), Blongios nain (breeder), Bécassine des marais and Bécassine sourde (winter), Pic noir and Petit Gravelot (breeder), Gorgebleue à miroir and Bondrée apivore (migration). The park is also a good place for entomologists and botanists.
