Vuosaaren Kartano and Nordsjö Manor attract a variety of birds throughout the year. There's a small forest like area right next to the park that provides shelter for wildlife and the Uutela forest is on the other side of the road, so you never know what birds can visit the park. During the hot summer months, local bird enthusiasts bring water to a dent on a big rock that has proven to be a popular pool for birds like Gobemouche gris, Mésange bleue, Gobemouche noir, Linotte mélodieuse, Pic épeiche, Mésange charbonnière, Moineau domestique, Moineau friquet, Pinson des arbres and Verdier d'Europe.
The trees and bushes in the area provide food and shelter for birds like Fauvette à tête noire, Pouillot fitis, Pouillot véloce, Grimpereau des bois and Rougegorge familier. In autumn the parks multiple oak trees attract Geai des chênes and birders have spotted Pic à dos blanc in the area during autumn as well. Some of the rarer bird sightings have been Rougequeue noir and Engoulevent d'Europe.
