The bird tower is easily accessable. In autumn, there is a good chance to find a Bécassine double among other great species of wader and waterfowl. Some recent rarities (in Finnish context) include Alouette calandrelle, Chevalier stagnatile and Milan royal.
You can make a circular walk through reedbeds. The route is marked and is called "Uikkupolku (Grebe path)". In the reeded area, you can find Panure à moustaches among other typical reed species.
