Kaidanpään Lintutorni is a bird observation tower that offers a great vantage point for observing various bird species. You can see waterfowl, herons, and have a good chance to hear Butor étoilé and Râle d'eau. Pygargue à queue blanche can be seen hunting all year round. Other birds you can observe in the area include Cygne chanteur, Canard souchet, Canard siffleur, Sarcelle d'hiver, Fuligule morillon, Harle piette, Harle bièvre, Grèbe huppé, Grue cendrée, Combattant varié, Bécassine des marais, Chevalier sylvain, Chevalier gambette, Sterne caspienne, Sterne pierregarin, Balbuzard pêcheur, Busard des roseaux, Pic épeiche, Faucon hobereau, Mésange noire, Mésange huppée, Panure à moustaches, Phragmite des joncs, Rousserolle effarvatte, Pipit des arbres and Bruant jaune.

Kaidanpään Lintutorni is located in Masku, which is about 25 kilometers northwest of the city of Turku. You can reach the area by local bus but then you still have to walk some kilometers. So best to go there is with car or by bicycle. There is small parking place where the path to birding tower starts. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. From the parking you have to walk about 1 km to the observation tower.
