Relaxing bird walk on the slopes surrounding the Camp Ljubač campsite. Mostly common birds, but Faucon kobez is sometimes seen here during migration.

Description

The area around the Camp Ljubač campsite has small-scale agricultural fields, forest, orchards and wilder fields with scattered bushes. Very relaxed area to walk around with nice views on the the bay of Ljubač. Besides some more common birds, you can observe birds such as Petit-duc scops, Rossignol philomèle, Bruant zizi, Guêpier d'Europe, Martinet à ventre blanc, Pie-grièche à tête rousse, Pie-grièche écorcheur and Fauvette mélanocéphale. During migration sometimes Faucon kobez is spotted.

Accès

Circular walk of 4 km on paved and unpaved roads in the low hills above the town of Ljubač. The walk is not difficult, although there are a few parts where the route is a bit steeper. Click on the P on the map for directions to a parking spot.
