Gradski Park Bihać is located along the fast flowing mountain river Una. In the winter there are hundreds of ducks, mainly Canard colvert. Some other duck species can be seen like Canard chipeau, Canard pilet and Sarcelle d'hiver. In the trees there are common birds like Mésange charbonnière, Mésange bleue and Pic épeiche. In spring other birds can be seen in nearby trees at the park migrating back to the mountains above. Also at the park in spring you can see Fauvette à tête noire, Pinson des arbres and some other species. During the breeding season, outside the city you can see Cincle plongeur and Harle bièvre who nest nearby. Also other species like Cigogne blanche, Héron cendré and Buse variable.
