Pompstation Meerbeek is pretty good for autumn migration watching because it is the hightest point (90m) in the area. Birds often fly lower because they have to cross the plateau. Birds that are often seen are Alouette des champs, Hirondelle rustique and Grand Cormoran. But rarer species have also been seen in the years, like Pipit rousseline, Pluvier guignard and Busard pâle. The local birds include Faisan de Colchide, Buse variable, Bruant jaune, Faucon crécerelle and Tarier pâtre.

Nederlands: Pompstation Meerbeek is een goed observatiepunt voor herfsttrek in Dijleland, omdat dit het hoogste punt (90 meter) in het gebied is. Vogels vliegen vaak lager omdat ze het plateau moeten oversteken. Vogelssoorten die vaak worden gezien zijn Alouette des champs, Hirondelle rustique en Grand Cormoran.
