The Fondatie van Boudelo consists of forests, meadows, pools and picturesque field roads. A dozen artificial ponds have been converted into natural pond biotopes in recent years. The area lies along the Stekene Canal in Sinaai and is one of the most valuable nature reserves in the Waasland region. You can see the surroundings in a viewing tower of 8 meters high. Bécasse des bois, Buse variable, Chouette hulotte, Pic noir, Rossignol philomèle, Locustelle tachetée, Rougequeue à front blanc and Bondrée apivore, among others, breed in the area.

Nederlands: De Fondatie van Boudelo bestaat uit bossen, hooilanden, sloten, poelen en pittoreske veldwegen. Een tiental kunstmatige vijvers werd de afgelopen jaren omgezet naar natuurlijke vijverbiotopen. Al die verschillende biotopen zorgen voor een rijkdom aan vogels. Het gebied ligt langs van het Kanaal van Stekene in Sinaai en is één van de waardevolste natuurgebieden van het Waasland. In een kijktoren van 8 meter hoogte kun je de omgeving overzien. Onder andere houtsnip, buizerd, bosuil, zwarte specht, nachtegaal, sprinkhaanzanger en wespendief broeden in het gebied.

A walk of 4 kilometers leads through the area and also passes the watchtower. Click on a P in the map for directions. In the Fondation van Boudelo it is wise to wear sturdy shoes or boots during wet periods.
