The Rhine Delta Observation Deck (Rheindelta Fußacher Bucht Beobachtungsplattform) is a great birding hotspot because in every season of the year you can observe different birds. The whole year you can see for example Courlis cendré, Grande Aigrette, Busard des roseaux or Panure à moustaches. In the winter half-year there are a lot of water birds like Cygne chanteur, Sarcelle d'hiver or Fuligule milouin. In the summer half-year there are Blongios nain, Héron pourpré, Milan noir or Sterne pierregarin. But the best time of the year is the period of migration with many shorebirds, flycatchers and many other migratory birds that make a stop in the area.

You can't go to the observation platform by car, but with the bike or on foot you can get there. The nearest bus stop is "Fußach Altes Postamt" Indicated with a star symbol on the map.
