Upton country park is a large area of different habitats such as fields, woodland and areas of water.
Upton country park is a good area for more widespread species of bird, but if you observe close enough you may be able to see species you may not have expected. Upton country park is a great place to see pikkutikka, käpytikka and vihertikka. Upton country park is also right next to Holes bay which is a good area for waders such as mustapyrstökuiri, valkoviklo and even the occasional avosetti can be spotted here. The park also has both puukiipijä and pähkinänakkeli.
Upton country park is almost in the middle of Hamworthy, Poole and Broadstone. You can get their from Broadstone by going through Creekmoor and onto the A350, which you can then turn off at the first left and arrive at upton. From Poole, you will have to go through Sterte and intersect with the A350.
A telescope can be useful when looking at the mudflats.
