Description

Summer Leys is an important winter refuge for tavi, harmaasorsa, haapana, töyhtöhyyppä, kapustarinta, isokoskelo, gulls, taivaanvuohi, lehtokurppa and the scrapes are a stopover for migrant pikkukuovi and other waders. There is a breeding colony of kalatiira.
